ABOUT THE PRODUCT
Nomex® stands out as a top-performing calendared, aramid insulation paper, especially effective when turned into insulating tubes & sleeves. With superior resistance to high temperatures and impressive dielectric strength, Nomex® is ideal for insulating tubing, sleeves and bobbins in various applications.
Apart from its thermal resilience, Nomex® boasts exceptional mechanical toughness and resistance to melting and combustion in air, even at temperatures up to 200°C. It maintains its electrical and mechanical properties over extended periods.
Nomex® is a durable choice, retaining physical and electrical characteristics for prolonged periods. Resistant to solvents, acids, and alkalis, it is compatible with transformer fluids, varnishes, lubricating oils, and refrigerants. Nomex® ensures longevity and reliability, remaining unaffected by insects or fungi in diverse environmental conditions.
Application
Nomex® tubes & sleeves excel in diverse applications, from transformer forms to collar supports, voltage regulator transformers, and primary coil forms in high-temperature motors. They’re also ideal for motor shaft insulators, spacers in heavy-duty tools, high-temperature potting cases, and flame-proofing applications. Nomex®‘s versatility ensures reliable performance across a range of demanding uses.
Nomex® Tubes & Nomex® Sleeves Available With Hatim Dielectrics
Nomex® Tubes & Sleeves are available in round cylindrical form, square and rectangular shapes. Inner diameter ranging from 15mm – 300mm or more and in standard length of 900mm, and up to 1200mm.
Deviations in specifications, construction, sizes or packing can be made upon customers’ requests.
Shelf Life
Nomex® Tubes & Sleeves exhibit a shelf life of 12 months from date of manufacture when stored at a temperature 25°C and 50 % relative humidity.
