Fiberglass Banding Tape – AVAILABLE WITH US
ABOUT THE PRODUCT
Unidirectional Fiberglass Banding Tape is made from continuous filament, high tensile electrical grade yarn, impregnated with thermosetting polyester base resin. The yarns are laid parallel to form a thin flat ribbon and utilizes maximum tensile strength of the glass to give exceptional strength.
Application
As supplied the banding tape is soft & pliable with a slight amount of tack. During the cure the resin flows & fill voids & air space to produce a homogenous laminate. Finally, the fully cured band is rigid with a hard-smooth resin rich surface & forming a void free homogenous mixture of glass & resin.
Fiberglass Banding Tape Available With Hatim Dielectrics
Fiberglass Banding tapes are available in widths of 10mm and above in standard 20-meter rolls. These Tapes are supplied in standard 75mm ID plastic bobbins to facilitate hand and machine taping.
Deviations in specifications, construction, sizes or packing can be made upon customers’ requests.
