ABOUT THE PRODUCT
Epoxy Tubes / cylinders are manufactured using thermosetting resins and specially treated fibre glass cloth suited for use at elevated temperatures.
They are rolled under controlled heat and specified hydraulic pressure to give a compact composite which is characterized by high dielectric strength, excellent mechanical and thermal properties and good flexural strength. These tubes / cylinders are resistant to weathering, humidity and many chemicals and have low thermal conductivity. Special grades with fire retardant properties are also available.
Application
Due to machinability and high mechanical strength, these tubes are ideally suited for use as cylinders of Open Ventilated Dry Type Transformers, in switchgears as connection rods and levers, in tap changers. They are widely used as rod bolts in transformer stacks, capacitors, transformer mounting rod and circuit breaker shafts.
GP03 Epoxy Sheets Laminates Available With Hatim Dielectrics
Epoxy Tubes / Cylinders are available in standard sizes of 1000mm / 1250mm lengths and bore of 5mm upto 400mm and wall thickness on 0.50mm upwards.
Deviations in specifications, construction, sizes or packing can be made upon customers’ request.
Shelf Life
Epoxy Tubes / Cylinders exhibit no shelf life when stored up to 24 months at a temperature of 25°C and 50% relative humidity.
